Janice showed us a beautiful house in a great neighborhood the day it came onto the market and we knew we loved it within minutes of walking in the front door. She went through the comps with us that night and we submitted an offer, above the asking price, the next day. However, we weren't the only ones who appreciated the beauty and potential of the house. There were eight other bids. We were extremely disappointed when the buyer accepted another offer, but Janice told us to not give up hope because she could feel that this house was ours. We were doubtful, but she was right! The first offer fell through in two days, and the selling agent told us that it was Janice's persuasive influence on our behalf that convinced them to accept our very solid offer. It proved to be a difficult short sale escrow, but Janice was on top of every twist and turn, and we stayed on track and got through it. A week and a half ago we moved into our lovely house. Hi Janice, Thank you so much for coming out to our July 4th homewarming party. It has been a great help finding this house and getting through the purchasing and negotiating process, which was never easy, but it worked all out allright. We are still unpacking very slowly - the garage has been a great storage spot at this time, and we've been fixing things and keeping up here and there around the house. Thank you for the citrus tree. We are waiting for the right time to plant it into the ground as it's too hot right now (The tag did say that it can grow OK in the container), and we're looking forward to try the first fruits when they grow. Also, thank you for the toy xylophone/piano for Justine, she has been using it every now and then. She's already started to walk a little bit, but I think by next month she will be up on her feet all day. She's still smiling as ever! Again, thank you for representing us through the house buying process. We will certainly enjoy our new home for a long time!
